Lavandula and lake

Lavandula harvest festival was ridiculously hot and by 2pm Dani and I were drinking cider and enjoying the music of cat and her boyfriend. We caught up with Emma, Shanka and the kids for a nice relaxing afternoon in the shade sharing stories and wine. After the pack up we were cooling down in the lake with Carson and the kids, so nice and needed. On exiting the lake, ended up flashing a boob at one of Riley's friends dads..... I'm sure he found it as amusing as we all did. Good one Nis!

Market time again!

I had such a lovely time at the recent Daylesford Makers Market and caught up with all the usually suspects including some now additions. I purchased a lovely cushion and print from Mandamade for Lilliana's birthday on the 27th December. http://mandamade.blogspot.com/I am sure as a 2 year old she will love it........... okay it's really more for me. Cant wait to decorate her big girl room!

I have a market on the 12th December at the Meat Market in North Melbourne http://www.thatsmelbourne.com.au/Whatson/Shopping/Markets/Pages/224a40ce-896e-4f03-89c9-9c3e657145b9.aspx and one on the 20th December at the Abbotsford convent Shirts and Skirts market. http://www.shirtandskirtmarkets.com.au/ Hope you can pop in and say 'hi'.

The BIG Sleep

I have been hibernating and only wish I could tell you I was sleeping, wrapped in a huge doona surrounded by fluffy pillows, but the only excuse I have is....um.....well......I don't have one. I have neglected this site and feel bad for doing so! LiliPili has had a short break form markets and I have only just started again with the first market at the Convent in Abbotsford and the next one is at the Town Hall in Daylesford (Saturday 28th November) Nice and close to home and really looking forward to it.

We have just returned from a family and friends holiday in Bali, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone who is in need of a break. We stayed at Villa Massillia in Seminyak, a four bedroom villa with 9 staff..... yes that's correct 9 staff, they cooked, cleaned and made us drinks by the pool.

Market Mayhem

Two weeks ago Dani and I had a stall at the Maribyrnong Makers Market held at Seddon uniting church. The weather was on our side, and both the coffee and bacon rolls were hot. The other crafters stalls looked amazing, the product some people make is so inspirational.... I love it. After some time deliberating and changing the look of the stall we both thought it was looking spot on, and to our surprise we actually won the best stall on the day and received a voucher to have dinner at a local restaurant. We were both really stoked to say the least. It confirmed we are on the right track! The next market is the Shirts and Skirts Market at the Abbotsford convent. hope to see you there so you can check out the updated stall. http://www.shirtandskirtmarkets.com.au/

Daylesford Days

Autumn is truly upon us.... and I love it! The crisp mornings followed by the glorious sun just warms my soul. I just cant get enough of the colours, smells and that special Autumn stillness before the big winter sleep. I was born on the 1st of March and consider myself a true Autumn baby. Its a very beautiful time of year.
